The Chocolate Hills are a geological formation in the Bohol province of the Philippines. There are at least 1,260 hills but there may be as many as 1,776 hills spread over an area of more than 50 square kilometres (20 sq mi). They are covered in green grass that turns brown (like chocolate) during the dry season, hence the name.
Bilar Man-Made Forest is a 2-kilometer stretch of mahogany trees located along the border of the towns of Loboc and Bilar. Considered as one of the most photographed sites in the island of Bohol.
One of the popular destinations in Bohol is The Loboc River where you can get on board a floating restaurant and enjoy the Loboc River cruise while you feast on a sumptuous buffet of local dishes. The cruise and buffet includes a short cultural show by the local community.
Hinagdanan Cave is one of Bohol's best adventure spots in the municipality of Dauis on Panglao Island. Beautiful stalactites and stalagmites as well as a fresh water lagoon with a depth of 10-12 feet will greet you as you slowly made your way inside.
Blood Compact Commemorative Shrine is located in Barangay Bool, Tagbilaran City. This site was made in honor of a momentous event in the Philippine history done between Miguel Lopez de Legazpi of Spain and Rajah Sikatuna of Bohol.
